お願いします！ごめんなさい…（紅鯨団）
ごめんなさいされちゃいましたね。トレヴィーゾ君
だーい！どーんでーん返ーしッ！
と言うにはちょっと可能性そもそもが足りなったわけですが、個人的には少々驚いておりますです。
トレヴィーゾというとイタリアは北東部、ヴェネト州にある小さな街です。
ヴェネツィアからインターシティ（特急）を使えば１時間もかからず行ける場所ですが、観光地としてはそこまで知られていません。
僕が３年前に住んでいたのが同じヴェネト州のヴェローナ。そこからもトレヴィーゾまでは電車で１時間もかからずに行けるので僕にとっては結構親近感が沸く土地であります。
ここの街はサッカーよりもバレーボールチームの方が有名でして、僕がヴェローナに住んでいた頃にはこのチームがセリエＡに上がってくるなんて思いもしなかったどころか、セリエＢにいたのも知らなかったくらいです。
それくらい小さなクラブと言っていいでしょう。
だからこそこのチームの狙いは実力があり、若い日本人選手を獲得して、ジャパンマネーをチーム資金にし、そしてレッジーナの中村のように近い将来他のビッグクラブに売る、という事まで考えた物なのでしょう。
まあその事自体に色々賛否はあるでしょうけど、ある意味日本人選手の武器ですよね。
だからあまり僕は悲観してなくて、むしろコレがきっかけでどんどん日本人選手が海外で活躍して欲しいなあ、と思っているのですよ。
さて、今回の石川の選択、すなわち東京に残留を決めてくれた事に関してですが。
僕は半ば予想通り、半ば意外な感じがしました。
東京ファンとしてはもちろん今出て行ってもらっては困るのは当然の事。
しかしながら、海外のクラブから誘ってもらえるというのは来年も確実にある、というわけではありません。
もっと言ってしまえば石川が来年のドイツW杯に出られる確率や現在のヨーロッパの移籍事情を考えると、今後どれだけ石川がこのチャンスを掴めるのか？わからないですよね。
また、今回のトレヴィーゾがどんなサッカーをするか僕はよく知りません。
でも、２部から１部にあがったチームがやる事はイタリアでは常に同じ。
「堅守速攻」
「１人の有力ＦＷを活かす為の戦術＝徹底したサイドからの攻撃とDFから裏へのロビング」
そして、
「長い距離のドリブル」
石川がこのキーワードにハマりまくってるわけです。
そして、イタリアでは石川は無名。相手に警戒されて苦しむことは最初はないでしょう。
更に石川のドリブルはイタリアには無いタイプですからおそらくセリエＡのＤＦは戸惑う事でしょう。
更に更に彼のスピードに乗った時の迫力は確実にイタリア人好みです。それは断言できます。
だからこそ、実は僕は石川がトレヴィーゾに行くのを何処か望んでいたのかもしれない。
非常に無責任な話なのだけれども。
原さんや鈴木強化部長や村林常務や僕らファンの気持ちを裏切ってでもいいから、かの地へ飛び出して欲しかったのです。
あの国で羽ばたく彼を、ヴェネトの、いや、イタリア全土の人々に自慢したかった。
“東京から飛び出した石川”を。
これは僕の超個人的な願望です。
恐らくはほとんどの東京ファンの人は冗談じゃない！と言うと思うけれども。
でもね。
あそこに住んだ人間だからってわけじゃないけど。
きっと石川はあそこでこそ輝くと思うんだ。
東京での彼以上に。
そんな気がする。
そりゃ東京は大事だけれどね。
でも僕らが彼のキャリアの足かせになってしまったら…。
どうか彼が今日の決断を後悔しない将来が待っていますように。
いやあ、それにしても。
石川と言い、小笠原と言い、宮本と言い。
海外からの誘いを断るなんて、日本のサッカーも凄い時代になったもんだなあ…。
